Louisiana Iris

Vicki planted north of 10^4 Irises (Irii?)
in our yard over the last 5 years because she loves them all, particularly the Louisiana and Siberian varieties. The Louisiana iris is particularly useful in the country where the septic tank reigns. After reading all the info about culture she just put ‘em in the ground, both expensive ones and the freebies from the Iris society into the sewage effluent that roles down the hill and poof: instant Iris crop, most 4 foot and higher. In our area she carefully ignores them until they become too crowded and then she divides them and donates to the less fortunate. The images are mostly those with our pond as a background, in situ. I am eschewing the easy way of cutting them, placing them in a windless indoor setting and taking repeated images for focus stacking.
