He had declined quickly since an illness in January dropped his function substantially in a short period. His lungs probably took him. The combo of Vascular Dementia and Alzheimers ,however, was the defining illness for his last 4 years. This colorized photo was the only youthful photo I have of him. I scanned it on a low end multifunction. The info in the print is limited so I do not know what would be gained from a high end scan. Amazing he looks like me. See here for more photos. Read More...
